Welcome to Ira Blue Press, my creative home; a place where faith meets imagination and where stories are written with both heart and prayer.

I created Ira Blue Press to be more than a publishing imprint; it’s a reflection of my journey and a tribute to the legacy that shaped me. The name was inspired by my mother, her middle name Ira and her favorite color Blue. Together, they represent peace, depth, and truth, the very essence of what I hope each story carries.

Every book born from this space is written to reach beyond entertainment. My words are meant to heal, to awaken, and to remind readers that grace is still moving, even in the quietest corners of our lives.

Welcome to my world of storytelling, reflection, and divine grace.
Here, words are not only read, they are felt.
Here, stories remember what the soul has forgotten.

I’m Karen Gay Napier, author, minister, and the founder of Ira Blue Press. I write stories that speak to the heart of faith, healing, and womanhood. My words are deeply rooted in grace because I know what it feels like to walk through pain and still believe that God can use it for good.

My Unmasking series, Unmasking the Empath Within, Unmasking the Numbness, Unmasking in the Mirror, and Unmasking Her Echo: Grace Remembered What They Forgot, reflects my lifelong desire to help others uncover the hidden parts of themselves and meet God there. Each book is a journey inward, a story of faith rediscovered, truth revealed, and identity restored.

Writing for me is a form of prayer.
It’s how I process, how I listen, and how I speak hope into the lives of women who need to be reminded that they are not forgotten. My stories are filled with real emotion, scripture, and reflection because I believe that fiction can carry truth just as powerfully as a sermon.

Beyond writing, I am passionate about ministry, empowerment, and creating safe spaces for women to breathe, believe, and become. I spend my quiet time by the water, in prayer, and dreaming about the next story God will allow me to tell.

Every page I write carries a piece of my heart, and a whisper of His.
If these stories reach you, it’s because they were meant to.
If they move you, it’s because grace was already waiting there.

Thank you for being here, for reading, believing, and journeying with me.
May every word you encounter through Ira Blue Press remind you that healing is possible, faith still speaks, and grace remembers every name it has ever called.

“The Power of Pages, The Beauty of Truth.”
